Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your RentEazzy subscription and what happens to your data and account upon cancellation.

1. Cancelling Your Pro Subscription

You may cancel your Pro Plan subscription at any time through the App (Settings → Subscription → Cancel) or by emailing support@renteazzy.in.

2. Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation of the Pro Plan:

  • Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle (annual period).
  • After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free Plan.
  • If you have more than 5 tenants, you will retain read-only access to all tenant records but cannot add new tenants until your count is within the Free Plan limit.
  • No partial or prorated refunds are issued for unused portions of the subscription period.

3. Cancelling Your Account

If you wish to permanently delete your RentEazzy account:

  • Email support@renteazzy.in with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”
  • Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.
  • This action is irreversible. All property data, tenant records, payment history, and agreements will be permanently erased.
  • Active tenants linked to your properties will be notified of the account closure.

4. Data Retention

After cancellation of the Pro Plan (without account deletion), your data will be retained under the Free Plan. We retain transactional data (payment records) for 8 years as required by Indian taxation laws. Data deletion requests are subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

5. Re-Subscription

You may re-subscribe to the Pro Plan at any time. All your existing data (if the account was not deleted) will be restored to full Pro access immediately upon payment.
